Business Development Intern
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of our products and services, including features, benefits, and pricing, to effectively communicate and sell to customers
- Reach out to existing and prospective customers to generate new sales leads and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling
- Collaborate with the sales team and other internal departments to address prospect needs, answer product-related questions, and provide accurate information
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the retail industry, including market trends, competitor analysis, and customer preferences, to effectively position our products and differentiate them from competitors
- Meet or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) on a regular basis
- Utilize sales techniques such as consultative selling, active listening, and persuasive communication to influence customers and close sales
- Stay informed about product updates, promotions, and marketing campaigns to effectively communicate them to customers and maximize sales opportunities
